About FISCHER Fuel Cell Compressor
FISCHER Fuel Cell Compressor AG (FFCC), headquartered in Herzogenbuchsee, is the technology leader in the field of air compressors for fuel cell technology and is part of the FISCHER Spindle Group AG. Based on the patented spiral groove bearing technology, the company has a high-tech product portfolio and plays a central role as a partner to the world's leading companies. In 2021, WEICHAI Power acquired a stake in FFCC. In the same year, the two companies founded a joint venture in China called FISCHER WEICHAI (Weifang) Fuel Cell Compressor (FWFCC). Together they are investing in setting up global series production.
The main location in Switzerland continues to be responsible for the management and expansion of the global R&D centre and production technology. With its own production, assembly and sales, FFCC Switzerland covers all competences. According to the motto "think global - act local", Switzerland enables the joint venture in China to develop its local products, strengthen marketing and realise local series production.

We believe in the long-term success of the hydrogen fuel cell and are further expanding our international technology leadership in the field of air compressors. With our sustainable and innovative products, we are making an important contribution to climate-neutral and ecological mobility.
For FISCHER Fuel Cell Compressor, the focus is clearly on customer benefits, and thanks to Swiss engineering and sales expertise, we are able to offer customised solutions. Together with our Chinese partner WEICHAI, we are investing in the development of global series production. In doing so, we not only want to invest in all fuel cell markets (transit bus, truck, marine, etc.), but also distribute FISCHER compressors in any quantities and offer them in all countries.
The main location in Switzerland will continue to manage and expand the global R&D centre for the further development of bearing technology and production engineering. With its own production, assembly and distribution, FFCC Switzerland covers all competences. In line with the motto "think global - act local", FFCC will also enable the joint venture in China to develop its local products, strengthen marketing and realise local series production.

FISCHER Spindle Group AG a Swiss family owned company with over 80 years of experience in precision engineering. We are the international technology leader in precise, fast and powerful rotation, especially in precision spindle construction, the heart of state-of-the-art production machines.
The FISCHER company was founded in 1939 by Ernst Fischer. It is currently in the hands of the third generation of Patrik Fischer and since 2020 has been co-owned by the family of CEO Dr. Tobias Moser. FISCHER Spindle Group AG is present at six locations worldwide and employs a total of around 400 people.
In April 2020, FISCHER Fuel Cell Compressor AG (FFCC for short) was founded, which aims to become the global technology leader in the field of air compressors for fuel cell technology. The know-how is based on developments in the field of turbo compressors since 2005. FFCC is also headquartered in Switzerland - in Herzogenbuchsee, Bern - has subsidiaries in the USA and China and employs around 30 people.
In winter 2021, our strategic cooperation with the Chinese WEICHAI Group began. Its subsidiary WEICHAI Power acquired shares in FISCHER Fuel Cell Compressor (FFCC), becoming a joint venture partner of FFCC's global headquarters. The Swiss-Chinese collaboration forms a strong international partnership with combined forces of Swiss high-tech innovation and Chinese operational excellence to become the world's leading manufacturer of fuel cell compressors.
We are excited about the strategic Swiss-Chinese partnership, which is based on trust and brings the competencies of both sides equally to successfully launch products.
