"My first day at work at FISCHER AG started on 01 December 2014. At that time I was an employee in the spindle testing department. After a while, I moved to the APL department and assembled, disassembled and repaired very small spindles on CNC lathes and grinding machines, among other things. I also worked in the grinding shop and RAP on a temporary basis.
In addition to the spindles, I was also interested in our turbo compressors and was needed in the assembly of the compressors.
In my spare time I was always busy with computers and had a flair for technical things. I attended courses and acquired the Swiss IT certificate as a PC technician. I only did this as an interest and enthusiasm and at first I didn't even think of working in this field.
Today I work 50% in assembly and 50% in the IT department. I am very enthusiastic about the job as an IT supporter. I was allowed to turn my passion into a profession."
