Did you know that the racing team Forze Delft from Holland has installed a FISCHER air compressor EMTCT-120k in their racing car?
The aim of the Forze Delft Foundation is to participate in races with hydrogen powered vehicles and thus promote sustainable technologies.
The new hydrogen-electric racing car Forze VIII reaches 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h. A year ago, the Forze VIII achieved a podium place in the Supercar Challenge Sport class.
With 520 hp, the successor - which will make its first laps in summer 2021 - will be twice as powerful as its predecessor. The Forze IX can reach a top speed of up to 300 km/h. With acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h within 3 seconds, sharp turns and a perfectly thought-out racing strategy, they expect to be able to stand up to the competition.
With these impressive figures, the students of Delft University of Technology prove once again that racing can also be green and emission-free. The team expects a big leap in the world of green racing.
